Transferring notes via iTunes

Transferring notes from an iPad to a computer:
1. Connect your iPad to a computer.

2. Export notes to iTunes.

  1. In Notability's Library, tap .
  2. Tap the notes you want to export to select them.
  3. Tap again.
  4. Tap iTunes from the menu that appears.
  5. Choose your preferred file format.
  6. Tap "Send to iTunes".

3. View the notes in iTunes.

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Click the iPad from the top menu bar.
  3. Click "Apps" in the column on the left.
  4. Scroll down to "File Sharing" in the window on the right.
  5. Click Notability in the list of apps.
  6. The exported notes will appear in the "Notability Documents" window.

4. Drag the notes to your computer's desktop or to a desired folder.

Transferring notes from an iPhone to a computer:
1. Connect your iPhone to a computer.

2. Export a note to iTunes.

  1. Open a note.
  2. Tap from the top toolbar.
  3. Tap from the menu that appears.
  4. Tap iTunes from the menu that appears.
  5. Choose your preferred file format.
  6. Tap "Send to iTunes".

3. View the imported notes in iTunes.

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Click the iPhone from the top menu bar.
  3. Click "Apps" in the column on the left.
  4. Scroll down to "File Sharing" in the window on the right.
  5. Click Notability in the list of apps.
  6. The exported note will appear in the "Notability Documents" window.

4. Drag the note to your computer's desktop or to a desired folder.

Transferring notes from a computer to an iPhone or iPad:
1. Connect your iPad or iPhone to a computer.

2. Navigate to the file sharing area in iTunes.

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Select the iPad or iPhone from the top menu bar.
  3. Select 'Apps' from the column on the left.
  4. Scroll down to 'File Sharing' in the window on the right.
  5. Select Notability from the list of apps.

3. Drag notes from your computer into to the 'Notability Documents' window.

4. The notes will disappear from the documents window and appear in Notability.
