Copy and pasting pages in notes

In Notability 6.2+ for iOS and 2.2+ for OS X, pages can be copied, cut, and pasted from one note to another.

On iPad

  1. Tap .
  2. Tap the page that you wish to copy or cut.
  3. Tap the blue chevron to reveal page management options.
  4. Tap Copy or Cut.
  5. Return to the library and open the note to which you want to add this page. 
  6. Tap .
  7. Tap the page that you want to add the cut or copied page below.
  8. Tap the blue chevron and tap Paste from the options.

Only one page can be copied or cut at a time on iPad.

On Mac

  1. Click .
  2. Select the page you wish to copy or cut.
  3. Right click the thumbnail image for that page.
  4. Select Copy or Cut.
  5. Open the note into which you want to add this page.
  6. Click .
  7. Select the page that you want to add the copied or pasted page below.
  8. Right click and select Paste from the options. 

On Mac, multiple pages can be copied or cut from a note and added to another note. Hold down shift to select a continuous page range or command to select individual pages not in a row.
