Copying and Pasting Pages in Notes

Pages can be copied, cut, and pasted from one note to another.

On iPad

  1. Open a note.
  2. Tap in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the page you wish to copy or cut.
  4. Tap the blue chevron to reveal page management options.
  5. Tap Copy or Cut.
  6. Return to the library and open another note.
  7. Tap .
  8. Tap the page that you want to add the cut or copied page below.
  9. Tap the blue chevron.
  10. Tap Paste.

Only one page can be copied or cut at a time on iPad.

On Mac

  1. Click .
  2. Click the page you wish to copy or cut.
  3. Right click the thumbnail image for that page.
  4. Click Copy or Cut.
  5. Open another note.
  6. Click .
  7. Click the page that you want to add the copied or cut page below.
  8. Right click the thumbnail image for that page.
  9. Click Paste.

On Mac, you can copy or cut multiple pages at once. Hold down the shift key to select a continuous range of pages, or hold down the command key to select individual pages not in a row.
