Overview
Use folders to organize your notes and other folders, with support for up to 6 levels of nesting.
The Library is where all your notes and folders live. It is your main space for accessing and organizing your content.
The Sidebar on the left is where you create and manage folders to keep your notes organized.
Navigation
Click on a folder to select it. To expand or collapse a folder, select the arrow. This arrow appears if a folder contains subfolders.
The note count will be displayed on a folder when it is selected. The note count reflects notes directly inside that folder and not within it’s subfolders.
Creating a Folder
- Select + next to Folders in the sidebar.
- Select Add Folder.
- A new folder will appear in your library, and you can name it.
- Multiple folders can be created with the same name.
- Once a folder is created, there is no limit to the number of notes it can contain. Each top-level folder can include up to 5 additional levels of nested folders.
Creating a Subfolder
- Hover over a folder and select
to view the options menu.
- Select Insert folder.
Folders will appear in your Library.
Editing Folders
Hover over a folder and select to view the options menu.
Available options:
- Rename
- Edit folder
- Insert folder
- Create note
- Import note
- Delete
Edit Options:
- To customize the folder color, select Edit folder, select a color, and save.
Moving Folders
To organize your Library, you can move folders into other folders, nested up to 6 levels.
- Click and hold a folder.
- Drag it into another folder.
- Release to place it inside.
Moving Notes into a Folder
There are two ways to move notes into a folder.
Through the Options Menu
- From the library, hover over a note in the left side panel and select
.
- Select Move to and select a folder.
- Select Done.
Drag and Drop
- Click and hold a note.
- Drag the note into a folder.
- Release to move the note.
