Eligibility
Who can participate
To be eligible for the Learn Guarantee, you must meet all of the following at the time you submit your claim:
- You are a new subscriber to Notability Plus or Pro. For purposes of this offer, “new subscriber” means you have not held an active Notability Plus or Pro subscription at any time during the 12 months before your current subscription start date.
- Your subscription began on or after July 15, 2026 and on or before September 30, 2026.
- Your subscription is active and in good standing at the time of your claim.
- You have used Learn to answer at least 20 questions or flashcards during your subscription period.
- You submit your claim by October 31, 2026.
Who is not eligible
- Existing subscribers who were already on a paid plan before July 15, 2026.
- Users on free trials or free tiers who do not convert to a paid plan.
- Users whose subscriptions were obtained through third-party bundles, gift cards, or promotional codes, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Users who have already redeemed the Learn Guarantee on a previous account.
The Offer
What you receive
If your claim is approved, we'll apply a 90-day extension to your Plus or Pro subscription at no charge.
The extension:
- Begins on the day the extension is applied to your account and runs for 90 consecutive days.
- Is applied at the subscription tier you were on at the time your claim is approved (Plus or Pro). If you changed tiers during your subscription period, the extension applies at your current tier.
- Does not renew automatically. Your subscription resumes its normal billing cycle after the extension period ends. Notability will send you a reminder at least 3 days before the extension expires, informing you of the upcoming change and how to cancel if you choose not to continue.
What the offer does not include
- No cash refund of any subscription fees paid.
- No credit toward in-app purchases, upgrades, or other Notability products.
- No extension of a Family or Education plan
- This offer applies to individual Notability Plus and Pro subscriptions only.
How to Claim
Submission process
To submit a Learn Guarantee claim:
- Visit our support center and complete the claim form.
- Select "Learn Guarantee" from the support request dropdown.
- Provide your subscription start date and the email address associated with your Notability account.
- Confirm that you've met the Learn usage requirement (20 completed questions or flashcards).
- Submit your claim before October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
What happens next
Once you submit your claim, our support team will verify your eligibility, including your subscription status and Learn usage. You'll receive a response within 2–3 business days.
If approved, the 90-day extension is applied within 5 business days, and you'll get an email confirmation once it's active.
If your claim isn't approved, we'll tell you why and, where possible, what you can do next. If you believe there's an error, you can reply to that email to request a secondary review.
Learn Usage Requirement
To qualify, you must have used Learn to answer at least 20 questions or flashcards during your subscription period. We verify this through usage data logged in the app.
Usage that counts:
- Answering questions Learn generates from your own notes.
- Completing flashcard sets created by or within Learn.
Usage that does not count:
- Viewing Learn-generated questions without answering them.
- Accessing Learn features without completing a full answer interaction.
Offer limits & modifications
Per-account limit
The Learn Guarantee may be redeemed once per Notability account, identified by the email address associated with your subscription. Creating a new account to claim the guarantee a second time violates these terms and may result in account suspension.
Capacity and early close
We reserve the right to stop accepting new enrollments in the Learn Gurantee before Octover 31, 2026 if claim volume exceeds operational capacity. Subscribers who began their subscription while the offer was available will remain eligible to submit a claim through October 31, 2026 regardless of any early close. If Notability stop accepting new enrollments, it will:
- Provide at least 7 days' advance notice via notability.com/guarantee and in-app messaging.
- Continue to accept and honor claims from subscribers who enrolled while the offer was available through October 31, 2026.
Modifications
Notability may update these terms to correct errors, clarify language, or reflect changes in applicable law. If an update materially affects eligibility or the nature of the benefit, Notability will notify eligible subscribers via email and update this page at least 7 days before the change takes effect. No update will reduce eligibility or the benefit for subscribers who began their subscription before the update takes effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to claims already submitted.
General terms
About Notability
The Learn Guarantee is offered by Ginger Labs, Inc, a California corporation (“Notability”, “we” or “us”).
Accuracy of information
By submitting a claim, you confirm that the information you've provided is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to deny or reverse an approved claim if we determine a submission contained false or misleading information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to the Learn Guarantee are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection laws cannot be waived by contract, nothing in these terms limits or overrides those protections. You retain any rights available to you under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Relationship to Notability's Terms of Service
The Learn Guarantee is subject to Notability's standard Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where these guarantee terms conflict with the standard Terms of Service on matters related to Learn Guarantee offe rthe guarantee terms govern.
No warranty
The 90-day subscription extension provided under this guarantee is offered "as-is." We don't warrant that the extension will be free from errors or interruptions. This guarantee doesn't limit or modify any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
