How to access Notability settings on Android

From a note

  1. Tap the icon on the Action Bar, in the top right corner of a note.
  2. Select App Settings from the menu.

From the library 

  1. Navigate to Notes or a folder.
  2. Tap the icon with your initial to the right of the search bar.

What's in settings

Account: See which Notability account you're signed into, and log out from here. To delete your account, tap the icon and select “Delete account”. 

Manage subscription: View your current plan or upgrade through the Play Store.

AI customization: Toggle these on or off:

  • AI
  • Learn
  • Transcription

Choose a default language, or leave it set to auto-detect.

Appearance: Toggle these on or off:

  • Dark theme
  • Match system appearance
  • Keep device awake
  • Hide status bar in note view
  • Hide navigation bar in note view

Note editor: Under document defaults, choose the template used for new notes.

Under handwriting and drawing, toggle these on or off:

  • Straight lines
  • Shape detection
  • Auto-deselect eraser
