Enrich notes and tell a story by adding photos and images.
Adding Photos to a Note
- Drag and drop a photo from the desktop onto:
- An open note. The photo will be added to the open note.
- The note list. A new note containing the photo will be made.
- A subject. A new note containing the photo will be made in the subject.
- Copy-and-paste a photo from another source into a note with control-click, two-finger tap on a trackpad, or Edit > Paste from the menu at the top of your Mac's screen.
- Click "Edit > Insert Photo" from the menu at the top of your Mac's screen to open a Finder window in which photos can be selected to add to the open note.
- Click "File > Import" from the menu at the top of your Mac's screen to open a Finder window in which a photo can be selected to create a new note.
Editing Photos or Images
- To select a photo, click on it while using the typing tool.
- To resize a photo, select it and then click and drag the corner handles.
- To move a photo, click and hold in the middle of the photo and drag it to a new location.
- To copy a photo, control-click it, use a two-finger tap on a trackpad, or click Edit > Copy from the menu at the top of your Mac's screen.
- To cut a photo, control-click it, use a two-finger tap on a trackpad, or click Edit > Cut from the menu at the top of your Mac's screen.
- To delete a photo, select it and press delete on your keyboard.
