Editing and Deleting Notes

Edit multiple notes at once or make changes individually within your Library.

Editing Multiple Notes

iOS

  1. Open Notability's Library.
  2. Tap "Edit" in the top left corner.
  3. Tap notes to select them.
  4. To delete the notes, tap .
  5. To duplicate the notes, tap .
  6. To move the notes, press and hold a note's thumbnail. Then drag it to a subject and let go.

Mac

  1. Open Notability's Library.
  2. Hold down shift and click on your notes.
    • Select from: Open in a New Window, Share, Duplicate, and Delete.

Editing Individual Notes

iOS

  1. Open Notability's Library.
  2. To delete a note, swipe right-to-left on its name. Then tap .
  3. To duplicate a note, press and hold its name. Then tap "Duplicate".
  4. To move a note, press and hold its thumbnail. Then drag it to a subject and let go.
  5. To rename a note, tap "Edit" or open the note. Then tap the note's name, type in a name, and tap "Done".

Mac

  1. Open Notability's Library.
  2. Right click on a note. 

Recovering Notes

You can recover notes for up to 30 days after you deleted them.

  1. Open Notability's Library.
  2. On iPhone, tap note-btn-subjectList_2x.png in the top left corner.
  3. Tap lib-btn-trash_2x.png at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap the note you want to recover, or tap "Select All".
  5. Tap "Recover Notes".
