Note Security: Locked Folders

You can create a password to lock folders within Notability.

A folder's password will automatically sync between iOS and Mac even if you don't sync notes across devices.

Password-protecting individual notes and/or the entire app is unavailable at this time.

Please note: Locked Folders are unavailable in Notability Cloud.

Face ID, Touch ID, and Passcode

Notability supports your device's Face ID, Touch ID, or Passcode.

You can also enable your device’s Face ID, Touch ID, or Passcode to override your current password and gain access to a locked folder.
