When you are done recording, the Smart Note will update to include details from your note's ink, text, and PDF-the final result: A fully comprehensive, easy-to-parse Smart Note for you to review.
Getting Started
- Tap
to start recording or open a note with content.
- Watch the Smart Notes appear in the Learn panel.
- Use the drop-down to choose between Smart Notes and Transcripts.
- Tap
to copy all Smart Notes.
- If recording is paused and then resumes, the note will update automatically.

How are Smart Notes different than Live Transcripts?
Smart Notes are structured notes created from your content, while Live Transcripts turn your spoken content into text.
Will my Smart Notes sync across devices?
No, but you can generate them again on your other devices.
Can I export my Smart Notes?
Smart Notes cannot be exported, but you can copy and paste them by using Copy All.
What is the difference between a Smart Note (Pro) and a Summary (Plus)?
A Smart Note is created in real time from transcripts as you record. A Summary is created after recording using your audio, handwriting, text, and PDFs.
Are Smart Notes available on Mac?
Smart Notes are available, but not while recording.
